The ensemble’s members consist of both percussionists and wind players who have taken on percussion as a second instrument. The ensemble rehearses one night a week and performs numerous concerts throughout the school year.
Since its inception, the ensemble has enjoyed a phenomenal amount of success. In addition to their concerts in the Phoenixville area, the group has performed at Heritage Festivals in New York City (Gold Rating); Dallas, Texas (Silver Rating); and Orlando, Florida (Gold Rating). The ensemble was also selected by audition to perform at the 2003 Bands of America National Percussion Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana, only the second group from Pennsylvania ever invited to this prestigious event.
